How to get to Moscow from the airport
TAXI
Moscow is quite expensive city and the first thing you need to know – don’t take the taxi on the street. It is very important, most of that drivers are not Russian and they hardly can speak English. But the worst thing – they can rob you. The normal price for the taxi from airport is 1000-2000 rubles (15-35$). And please don’t forget about traffic, especially to Domodedovo airport (once it took me 4,5 hours to ride from airport to the city center). Usually the taxi can take you 1-2 hours, for example. Therefore, I advise you to have a couple of extra hours when you go to the airport.

Finally, enter your bank card details in advance in the application to avoid excessive fees.
AEROEXPRESS
Another way to get to Moscow from the airport is aeroexpress.
The website you need to use: https://aeroexpress.ru/en/aero.html
In each airport you can find signs with the direction of aeroexpress and buy ticket, it costs 500 rubles (8-9$).
The aeroexpress goes every 30-60 minutes from 5 am to 1 am (check the schedule on the website).
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
From/to Vnukovo airport you can take the bus N611/N611c (the price is 50 rubles/1$) or N45/N705M (the price is 150 rubles/2,5$). Go out at Ugo-Zapadnaya metro station. After that, inside the metro it is better to buy the Troika card and replenish it at an ATM or cash office (it costs 50 rubles). Also in the end of your vacations in Moscow you can return the card to the cash office and recieve 50 rubles back.
In the metro you will find an English translation of the stations, but also you can use Yandex Metro app (English version). It will help you not to get lost.
From Domodedovo airport you can take bus N308 (the ticket costs 100 rubles). It will take you to Domodedovskaya metro station.
And finally, from Sheremetyevo airport you can take N851 / N948 buses and go out at Rechnoy vokzal metro station.
